Following the inability of Nigeria’s Super Eagles to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Augustine Eguavoen, the former Technical Adviser, has resigned with immediate effect.
In the meanwhile, the NFF has revoked the two-and-a-half-year contract provided to the coaches and has sacked the team’s entire technical staff with immediate effect.
After a thorough examination, a new crew will be chosen to spearhead the effort of reviving the Super Eagles and preparing them for future challenges.
