The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) announced on Saturday that its Anambra State Congress, which was set to occur today to elect new state executive officials for the party in the state, has been postponed.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, stated in a statement that a new date for the PDP Anambra State Congress will be announced as soon as it is determined.

According to him, the deadline for submitting forms for the Anambra State Congress has been extended, and a new date for the deadline would be informed.
“The PDP regrets whatever problems the Anambra State PDP Congress’s announced suspension may have caused,” he remarked.
