Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, the wife of former Anambra State State Governor Willie Obiano, has filed a form of interest to run for the Anambra Senate seat in 2023.
Anaedoonline.ng has learned that the former First Lady, who was in the news a few weeks ago after a silly event, has secured the APGA’s Expression of Interest and Nomination papers to run in the 2023 Anambra North Senatorial District election on Tuesday.
While fans and party members were there, Obiano’s presence was noticeably absent.

The former governor, according to Anaedoonline.ng, is presently engaged in a legal struggle with Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Anaedoonline.ng recalls that Mrs Obiano became a trend a few days ago after she was involved in a scuffle with Bianca Ojukwu, widow of the Biafra warlord, on her husband’s first day out of office.
The former First Lady was graced with a slap at the swearing-in and handing over of government to Governor Charles Soludo.
The chaotic event happened after Mrs Obiano left her seat to exchange words with Bianca where she was seated.
