2023: Peter Obi Reveals One Question Nigerians Must Ask Tinubu, Others

Before voting for the presidency in 2023, Nigerians should ask contestants about their big prior achievements, according to Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State.

Obi, who is also a presidential candidate, made the announcement on Monday in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, while meeting with some members of the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

In light of the country’s present security issues and other concerns, Obi urged Nigerians to conduct rigorous background checks on candidates so that the country does not embark on another painful and agonizing path.

He said, “Anybody who comes here and says to you that he wants to be President, ask, where he was 25 years ago and what he has done, where is he coming from?

“Ask questions about his achievements in the past. Where have you worked? Which school did he go to? Let us know how he managed public money that was given to him in the past”.

Anaedoonline.ng reports that the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike are among those who have declared to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
