On Friday, gunmen stormed the Isuofia hamlet in the Aguata Local Government Area, where Anambra State Governor Prof Charles Soludo was born.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, one police officer was murdered in the event, which occurred at a crossroads leading to the governor’s residence.
According to a source, the gunmen assaulted the crossroads where security officers were stationed and attacked them.

The concept of stationing a security post in the area enraged the shooters, according to the source.
“The hoodlums invaded the neighborhood, firing nonstop while inhabitants ran for cover.
“However, one police officer was slain in the process,” the source stated.
The spokesman for the Anambra State Police Command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu could not confirm the incident, as calls to his mobile phone were neither taken nor returned.
