Chairman of Innoson Group of Companies, and the man behind Africa’s first automobile brand, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, Chief Dr. Sir. Innocent Chukwuma (Innoson) has been conferred with the honour of Life Grand Patron of Hon. Kingsley Iruba Foundation.
Members and Executives of Kingsley Iruba Foundation who were at the residence of Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Ifediaso Nnewi) today, Sunday, 17th April, 2022, decorated the Auto-Manufacturer as Life Grand Patron of the foundation and also Honoured him with an award of excellence.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the National Coordinator of the Foundation, Prince Edwin Nwoye Mgbembu said that the foundation came to decision to make Chief Dr. Sir. Innocent Chukwuma her Life Grand Patron because of his outstanding and numerous contributions to the society.

According to National Coordinator of the foundation, he said that the award is in recognition of Chief Innocent’s magnanimity, as he has empowered and employed thousand of persons across Nigeria and beyond, and have also mentored hundreds of apprentices, who have become Millionaires and Billionaires.
He described the IVM boss as a grand ecumenical philanthropist, a problem solver, a builder of Nations, a highly respected practical economist, a shrewd industrialist, and a sole manufacturer of vehicles in the likes of Chinese, Germans, Japanese, and Americans, noting that Ifediaso Nnewi remains a rare gem.
On his own part, the President and Founder of the Foundation, Rt. Hon. Barr. Kingsley Chukwuma Iruba, said that Chief Innocent Chukwuma has been supportive of the foundation over the years hence the decision of the foundation to honour him with the Grand Life Patron of the foundation status.
He revealed that Chief Innocent has also endorsed his aspiration to contest for Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency under the platform All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) to enable him to have a better platform to add value to the lives of our people.

Appreciating the foundation for the honour, Chief Innocent Chukwuma promised to continue to support the foundation, noting that Hon. Kingsley Iruba is a good man that needs to be supported.
He however described Rt. Hon. Kingsley Iruba as a good leader who has done well and will do much better when given a higher position.
