APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu Reveals Those Tearing Party Apart

Some current and former governors have been accused of conspiring to split the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) by it’s chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.

Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s National Chairman, stated this in his opening remarks at the APC’s 11th National Executive Committee meeting, which was held at the Transcorp Hotel in Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, House Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, and other key players who are members of the NEC are present during the meeting.

The APC constitution does not allow for multiple leadership in states, according to Adamu, who announced that state governors are the party’s leaders in their states.

He however conceded that former governors are leaders in their own rights, urging serving governors to accord them all the necessary respect.
