2023: See What Jonathan Said After Miyetti Allah Purchased APC Presidential Form For Him

Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has stated that he did not allow the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association to acquire the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential nomination form for him.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the group obtained the paperwork for Jonathan in Abuja on Monday.

Jonathan’s spokesman, Ikechukwu Eze, released a statement saying the former president had no ties to the northern alliance that acquired the form.

He encouraged Nigerians to dismiss the sham and cautioned those behind it to stop defaming his name.

Buying a presidential ambition form in his name without his authorization, knowing the position he had held in the country, was an insult to him, he said.

“We wish to categorically state that Dr. Jonathan was not aware of this bid and did not authorise it.

“We want to state that if the former President wanted to contest an election, he would make his intentions clear to the public and will not enter through the back door,” he stressed.

Eze added that Jonathan had not in any way committed himself to run for president.
