The biggest opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), held a gubernatorial election across the majority of the nation on Wednesday.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the governor election would take place just a few days before the country’s Special National Convention, which will decide the country’s presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections.

Due to a problem with its delegates list, Imo has yet to have its governorship primary, while the PDP in Ogun State had two separate primary elections.
