Following the 3rd Force Movement’s selection of the Labour Party as the alternative ‘Big Tent’ for the 2023 elections, the National Consultative Front, NCFront, has called on additional leaders of conscience in the country to rapidly join the Labour Party.
The 3rd Force Movement was founded to provide a powerful platform to oppose the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), both of whom have had chances to rule Nigeria but have failed.
This was revealed in a statement issued on Sunday by Ms Bilikis Bello, the NCFront’s Communications Executive (National).
2023: Peter Obi Congratulates Atiku As He Becomes PDP Presidential Candidate
The call was made by the NCFront’s Head of Public Affairs, Mallam Dr Tanko Yunusa, in Asaba, Delta State’s capital, while speaking to a crowd of Labour Party supporters and delegates who had gathered to watch the party’s Presidential Primaries, which were held on Monday at the Orchid Hotels, GRA, Asaba, Delta.
Tanko Yunusa, along with other party chieftains, utilized the opportunity to criticize the APC and PDP’s ‘cash and carry’ party primaries, characterizing them as corrupt and criminal.
He demanded that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) go after the APC and PDP candidates and delegates for “damaging Nigeria’s election system and moral fabric.”
While applauding the burgeoning political synergy between the party’s two leading presidential aspirants, Peter Obi and Pat Utomi in the Labour Party, the Front also condemned the activities of some disgruntled elements and APC and PDP-sponsored agents in the media, who attempted to create a false picture of the party’s lack of cohesion.

In light of the Labour Party’s coalition, the Movement also invited all well-meaning Nigerians, including women, youths, the physically challenged, the poor, and the well-to-do, to join forces with the Labour Party to rescue Nigeria from the escalating insecurity and impending collapse imposed by inept rulers who are currently trading in delegates across the country.
