LATEST: Rochas Okorocha Granted N500 Million Bail

Former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, who is on trial for alleged N2.9 billion corruption allegations, was granted bail by Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday.

Okorocha was granted bail in the amount of N500 million, with a N500 million surety.

He was only allowed to leave the country with the express consent of the court.

LATEST: Okorocha Demands N1Bn Damages Over His Home Invasion

The Senator representing Imo West in the National Assembly was directed by the judge to surrender his travel passport with the court registrar.

In addition, the judge ordered that the court registrar notify Immigration in writing that Okorocha’s traveling passport is with the court and that he must not be permitted to leave the country.
