2023 Presidency: ‘It Is My Turn To Be President’ – Bola Tinubu

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s national leader, stated on Thursday that the South-West will deliver President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor.

This was revealed by the presidential candidate while speaking to party delegates at the Presidential Lodge in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.

This comes only days before the Democratic Party’s presidential primary.

Tinubu, who is from the area, believes that 2023 is the right moment for him to become Nigeria’s president.

Tinubu said, “This time, it’s Yoruba turn and in Yorubaland, it’s my tenure.”

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Kano State counterpart, Umar Ganduje, and former Borno State governor, Kasim Shettima, joined the national leader to Ogun State.

Tinubu also asserted that President Buhari would not have been elected president in 2015 if it hadn’t been for him.

He went on to say that he nominated Osinbajo for Vice President in 2015, and that he made Dapo Abiodun the Governor of Ogun State with the aid of God.
