Ondo State’s government has promised to track down terrorists who assaulted attendees at St Francis Catholic Church on Owa-Iuwa Street on Sunday.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Ondo Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, expressed regret over the unprovoked attack and slaughter of innocent persons in Owo in a statement on Sunday, characterizing the crime as demonic and “unexpected.”

The attack is a calculated assault on the peace-loving people of the Owo Kingdom, according to Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Richard Olatunde, who stated in a statement on Sunday that the attack is “a calculated assault on the peace-loving people of the Owo Kingdom who have enjoyed relative peace over the years.”
