Chairman Of Peter Obi’s LP Faction Reacts After New Presidential Candidate Emerges

Julius Abure, the Chairman of the Peter Obi faction of the Labor Party, LP, has reacted to the nomination of Callistus Okafor as a presidential candidate.

As previously reported by Anaedoonline.ng, a group of the LP led by Okafor claimed on Tuesday, June 7, that ambassador Jude Ezenwafor was now the party’s presidential candidate ahead of the 2023 election.

During an interview with Arise TV, Abure responded to the news by saying that Okafor was merely seeking publicity and that the matter was already being litigated.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi has described how he dealt with an incident in which a female senior confronted him in a church over unpaid benefits.

Anaedooonline.ng reports that Obi who is running for president in 2023 on the platform of the Labour Party narrated the ordeal in a recent interview with Brekete family reality talk magazine program.
