MKO Abiola’s Family Reveals He’s The Richest Man In The World

The late politician and business entrepreneur, Chief MKO Abiola, has been proclaimed the world’s richest man by his family.

The family claimed on Sunday through Murtala Abiola, the family’s patriarch, that he still had money in the international bank.

The statement was made to reporters at the family estate in Gbagura, Abeokuta, Ogun State, during this year’s annual prayer for the assumed winner of the nullified 1993 presidential election, according to Anaedoonline.ng.

The Untold Story Of How MKO Abiola Was Nearly Prevented From Becoming The Aare Ona Kakanfo

The late Abiola was a rare breed, according to the family patriarch, and it may take another hundred years to find someone like him again since such individuals are rare.

“I have been saying it, before we can get the type of MKO Abiola again, maybe another 100 years. He was a special breed, people like him are not easy to come by.

“Many years after his death, he is still the richest (man) in the whole world because we still have his money in the World Bank. So, MKO Abiola was a special breed and we were lucky as a family to have had him as one of us. We’re still enjoying the privileged today.”

Anaedoonline.ng recalls President Muhammadu Buhari in June 2018 declared June 12 as Nigeria’s Democracy Day, instead of May 29.
