The attack on the residents of Ojiogu and Okpochiri Ukwagba Ngbo in Ebonyi State’s Ohaukwu Local Government Area on Wednesday resulted in 18 fatalities.
According to ANAEDOONLINE’s report, Ezzas assaulted the affected Communities in the region between the states of Ebonyi and Benue.
In a phone conversation with Eze Moses Ekpe, the Town Union President for the Ukwagba Community, the community leader who confirmed the number added that the search for the attack victim was still ongoing.
“As I told you, we are still searching for the victims. So far, what the bodies we have are up to 18 in number.”
The attack led to the destruction of properties worth millions of naira.
