IPOB: If Elected President, This Is What I’ll Do About Agitation – Peter Obi

Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, said that if elected president of the nation in 2023, he would talk to those pushing for secession.

On the morning broadcast of Arise TV on Wednesday, Obi said he had seen how agitational situations were handled in other nations.

He claimed that the country’s weak leadership, which he claimed had been a problem with Nigeria for years, was what gave rise to the agitation.

The former governor of Anambra State clarified his alleged support for the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), saying he had never been involved in any struggle.

He said, “I have never been in any agitation. I had said that the agitation is because of leadership failure over the years. I will engage them in dialogue if elected into power”.
