Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, was not among the PDP governors that traveled to Osun state to back Ademola Adeleke, the party’s nominee for Saturday’s governorship election.
Important Governors including Douye Diri, Godwin Obaseki, Aminu Tambuwal, Ifeanyi Okowa, the party’s vice presidential candidate, and former Senate President Bukola Saraki were sighted in the images that circulated on social media.
Wike, who has remained silent since Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential nominee, chose him to be the party’s vice-presidential candidate, was not among the PDP governors seen in the pictures.

In the upcoming Osun governorship election, Ademola Adeleke will represent the PDP, while Gboyega Oyetola, the current governor, will represent the APC and Lasun Yusuf, the Labour party (LP)
Akin Ogunbiyi of the Accord Party and Goke Omigbodun of the Social Democratic Party are two further contenders (SDP).
