The philanthropist cautioned Nigerians against letting moneyed interests influence their voting decisions.

Don Jazzy expressed his thoughts on the approaching 2023 elections through Twitter, insisting that while efforts to curb vote buying might be challenging, Nigerians should think about the long-term consequences of not being persuaded by short-term financial benefits.

“I know stopping the menace of vote buying that has corrupted our electoral process might not be easy,” he Tweeted on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

“I can only urge Nigerians to be more mindful of the long-term gains of voting the right people into offices despite the attempts to financially sway their voting decisions.”
