Breaking: CBN Raises Interest Rates To 14 Percent

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, increased the interest rate from 13.5 percent to 14%.

This is the second interest rate increase this year.

The CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, announced this today while addressing the reporters after the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting in Lagos.
