The “SaveMore Marketplace2” was officially unveiled, July 19, at KM 4, Owerri-Onitsha express way, Irete, Owerri -West LGA, Imo State. It was undoubtedly a ‘shoppers’ paradise’.

The mouth watering building is located in the center of Owerri, with easy access and plenty of parking space for shoppers.

However, this is the second supermarket in three years built fully by Mr. Ogoochukwu Emenike, who also owns Roselife Hotel & Suites Owerri, Imo State and the Managing Director of Tummy Tummy Foods Ltd, producers of Tummy Tummy Noodles.

In an exclusive interview with anaedoonline.ng, the CEO, Mr. Ogochukwu Emenike said it is only sensible to establish a second mall (SaveMore Marketplace2) nearby so that people wouldn’t have to pay for transportation to a far-off market.

He further disclosed that the building was constructed with the needs of the customer in mind and as well making the product prices really affordable.

Chief Chika Emenike, CEO of the KOTEC Group of Companies (Makers of Tummy-Tummy, Events Table Water, Kotec Spare Parts, etc.) and investor at SaveMore Marketplace2, who served as the event’s chairman, conducted the ceremonial unveiling ceremony revealed to Anaedoonline.ng that the goal is to bring the market closer to the people by offering a shopping alternative in a convenient location at a lower cost.

High-profile individuals from various sectors attended the colorful even, such as, Mr. and Mrs. Ogoo Emenike, Chief Sir and Mrs. Chika Emenike (Ojichukwu Nnewi), Mr. Chukwunonye Ibeto, Igwe Irete Imo State, HRH Eze Ethelbert Ekwelibe, Access Bank PLC, Mr. Chijioke Emenike (Gen. Manager Tummy Tummy), Chairman AKA Communications.

However, SaveMore CEO Mr. Ogochukwu Emenike provided first-time customers to the mall, a 50% discount on whatever goods or item they are purchasing.
