FLASH: Bishop Oyedepo Charges Congregation To Be ‘Obidient’

Bishop David Oyedepo, Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, has said that obedience is preferable than sacrifice.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, this is as his wife, Faith Oyedepo, advised winners to be obedient in the Kingdom’s affairs (of God).

At the Winners Chapel monthly leadership conference, the Christian couple delivered the challenge.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, many people have construed the statements as a subtly endorsing Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president in the 2023 election.

The majority of Obi’s fans, who are also active on social media, have been running their campaigns as “Obi-dients.”

Recall that Peter Obi had recently paid a visit to the Living Faith Church, where he met the Oyedepos and took photos that later became viral.

Speaking at the leadership conference, Bishop Oyedepo, while unravelling the mystery of the covenant of obedience, said: “To be obedient is better than sacrifice. Obedience may be costly but the end result is always priceless.

“When you live your life as a seed, its impact lives for generations after you.”

On her part, Oyedepo’s wife stated the need for Christians to be obedient to spiritual instructions to enjoy the good of the land.
