Dino Melaye, a former legislator for the Kogi West senatorial district, predicted that Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate, would defeat Bola Tinubu in Lagos State. Tinubu is the APC’s presidential candidate.
In an interview with Newsmen, the PDP presidential campaign spokesman emphasized that the PDP had defeated Tinubu in his birthplace (Osun State).
Gboyega Oyetola, Tinubu’s cousin and the governor of Osun State, was defeated as a result of the PDP’s triumph.

Melaye added that the PDP would triumph in the poll if it were held in Lagos right now.
Atiku was well received in Lagos during his visit to the state, according to the former congressman.
Melaye said that Nigerians want his principal, adding that he will win the 2023 presidential election.
The ex-legislator, while speaking in the interview, said, “the ancestral home of Tinubu, he was defeated by the PDP which removed his first cousin as governor.
“If the election is conducted in Lagos today PDP will win the election, Atiku will defeat Tinubu, Atiku was in Lagos two days ago, and he was received everywhere he goes. The people want him and he is going to win the election.”
