Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, has what it takes to put Nigeria back on the path of progress, according to Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the party’s vice presidential candidate.
During a visit to the state of Kano to express sympathy to the victims of the Beirut Road GSM and Kantin Kwari textile markets following the respective building collapse and water catastrophes at both markets, Baba-Ahmed revealed this.
He said, “Nigeria has never had it so well in terms of choice of candidate available to voters with the emergence of Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, as a Presidential candidate.

“Peter Obi, has what it takes to put back Nigeria on the right path of development,” he said.
He promised the public that if they elected him to office, his government would make sure all laws were followed in order to prevent similar tragedies that could have been prevented.
He continued by saying that, if elected, their administration would support education and uphold the value of adhering to building codes and standards.
