Tukur Buratai, a former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), asserted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will be the opposition party in 2023.
According to the retired general, the APC has what it takes to win the elections.
Buratai made the remark on Monday in Abuja at the Progressives Young Leaders Summit.
In order to ensure their futures and further Nigeria’s development, he asked youths to persuade voters to support the APC.

“You must mobilise the electorate to ensure that they come out en masse to vote for the right candidate.
“I believe you know who I am referring to. The APC with the good support of the youth is the party to beat,” NAN quoted him saying.
Buratai also counseled young people to actively participate in the nation’s growth.
Marshal Abubakar Sadique, a former Chief of the Air Staff, stated that youths cannot afford to fall behind before 2023.
