Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, asserts that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, gave him a senate ticket during their meeting in London, United Kingdom.

In an effort to address the problem inside the People’s Democratic Party, the governor organized the chat.

Wike claims that he didn’t purchase a senatorial form and instead ran in the presidential primary because he wanted to be the candidate.
“I didn’t contest so I can become a vice presidential candidate.
“I am not like others who were not serious and bought senatorial form alongside presidential form, and that’s why when Tinubu offered me senate slot, I didn’t go for it.”
