After being ambushed by bandits close to Dolen-Kaura village in Kaura-Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State, three soldiers were killed and one was injured.
On Wednesday night, bandits assaulted the truck carrying the military soldiers who were on duty, according to a local who requested anonymity and spoke to ANAEDOONLINE.NG.
The military personnel were sent to Kada-mutsa village in the state’s Zurmi Local Government Area after receiving intelligence about the bandits’ intended attack, the source claims.

“The bandits laid an ambush and attacked the vehicle conveying the military personnel, killing three of them and wounded one,” said the source.
The source gave the name of the team leader who was killed as ‘Major Emos”, describing him as a gallant military officer.
