Ohanaeze, Southeast Leaders Blasts Atiku Over Igbo Presidency Pledge

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) vice presidential candidate, has come under fire for promising to hand the presidency to the zone in 2027.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide and other well-known Southeast Asian leaders have cautioned Nigerians against taking themselves too seriously.

No Southeasterner or Igbo, according to Ohanaeze, would take the former vice president’s advise seriously.

Atiku was quoted as saying at a rally in Enugu that he would help Ndigbo win the presidency in 2027 in exchange for the region’s support of him in 2023. The Southeast leaders were responding to this declaration.
