Femi Hamzat, the deputy governor of Lagos, has urged Peter Obi’s supporters to quit using dishonest strategies that won’t advance their cause.
In a statement released by Tunde Alao, his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Hamzat issued the warning.
A photo from the event in Lagos on Saturday went viral after supporters of the Labour Party (LP) candidate identified it as Hamzat’s son.

The caption said, “Femi Hamzat, son of Lagos State Deputy Governor, joins the opposition demonstration in favor of Peter Obi.”
The retort stated that the person in the picture is neither the deputy governor’s son nor a member of his family.
It referred to the assertion as yet another cunning, dishonest, and nefarious attempt to irritate the deputy governor’s supporters throughout Nigeria.
It was mentioned that Hamzat is known for his dedication and loyalty to the All Progressives Congress and the Sanwo-Olu-led administration (APC).

“Our party and all our supporters are working hard to ensure that our candidates get the votes of Nigerians and ours is not about bogus statistics and lies,” he said.
He urged Nigerians to be on the lookout for attempts to deceive them and urged Obi’s supporters to take their efforts seriously.
