The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and Other Related Matters, Anambra State Command, has detained a woman who has not yet been identified in connection with the murder of her maid.
In a video posted to social media on Thursday, the suspect was shown leading NAPTIP agents to a thicket where she discarded her maid’s already-decomposing body.
According to the information at hand, the suspect beat the victim, who started convulsing afterward and passed away before medical assistance could be given.

The suspect then dumped the body in a bush after realising her maid had died.
In the video the suspect said, “I beat her and she started convulsing so I took her to Kings Hospital. On getting there, she died, so I threw her body here.”
