The Nigerian government, according to award-winning singer Peter Okoye, often known as Mr. P, has meddled with the wrong generation.
The artist made this comment in response to a popular tape that purported to be Kashim Shettima, the vice presidential candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC), speaking.
The speaker on the recording described plans to expel Igbos from Lagos state and return it to its native inhabitants.

The speaker claimed that some Yorubas had told him that Northerners had made it easy for the Igbos to annex Lagos.
The voice said that they will ensure that Igbos are no longer useful in the Southeast after four years.
Reacting to the audio via Twitter, Mr P said that the youths are showing the government that they are now forensic analysts.
He wrote, “From ‘LAZY NIGERIAN YOUTH’ we don change am for dem! We don dey do FBI and FORENSIC analysts! They really messed with the wrong generation.”
