Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president, will meet with the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), and other Northern organizations.

The former vice president will be a guest at the interactive session of the Arewa Joint Committee on Saturday at the Arewa House in Kaduna State, according to a statement sent on Friday by Atiku’s media adviser, Paul Ibe.

Ibe claimed that the gathering was planned so that the Northern elders may evaluate the political views of the leading presidential contenders.

Ibe asserted that the event is another chance for the PDP presidential candidate to showcase his policy document to the Northern leaders and Nigerians.

He said: “The dialogue promises to be another opportunity for the PDP presidential candidate to relay his policy document titled, ‘My Covenant with Nigerians’ to the audience at the event.”

According to Anaedoonline.ng, a number of organizations, including Arewa House, Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, Arewa Research and Development Project, ACF, and NEF, among others, are organizing the interactive session.
