Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, a former governor of Anambra State, has declared that in exchange for President Muhammadu Buhari releasing IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu from prison, he is ready to bow or prostrate before the president.
On Monday, Ezeife said this while answering questions on the Arise TV Morning Show program.
After Kanu was released by the Appeal Court last week and Abubakar Malami, the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), filed a motion to set aside the ruling, he responded.

“If President Buhari wants me to kneel, I will kneel. If he wants me to prostrate, I’ll prostrate just for Nnamdi Kanu to be released. Going to the Supreme Court is a waste of time. Everyone in Nigeria is looking for a new Nigeria,” Ezeife said.
The former governor added that the Igbo elders would welcome talks from the Presidency to achieve Kanu’s release and peace in the South-East. He also stated that Kanu’s release will address protests, agitation, and sitting-at-home in the South-East region.
