2023: APC Releases Fresh Presidential Campaign Council List

Abdullahi Adamu, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is listed as second in charge on the newly revealed list of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) that was made public on Wednesday evening.

Remember that the ruling party’s earlier list publication had caused a crisis within the organization, with certain stakeholders threatening to stop supporting the party’s campaign.

The new list appears to contain members of the party’s National Working Committee who were dissatisfied with the earlier list that was made public a few weeks ago.

The list, which was endorsed by the party’s National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore, retains President Muhammadu Buhari as the chairman of the council.

Bola Tinubu, the party’s candidate for president, is running as the Deputy Chairman II in the list.

Kashim Shettima, the party’s vice presidential candidate, is still the vice chairman of the council, but Adamu has now been selected as the Deputy Chairman I on the list.

The previous National Chairman of the ruling party, Adams Oshiomhole, was appointed as Deputy Director-General, Operations, while James Faleke was designated Secretary of the party’s presidential campaign committee. The Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, continues in his role as Director General.
