Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) nominee for president, has pledged to hold talks with protesters all throughout the nation.

Obi announced this during an interactive session for the Presidential candidates held on Monday at the Arewa House in Kaduna State, according to Anaedoonline.ng.

If elected President in 2023, the former governor of Anambra State made a vow to engage in negotiation with agitators, learn the basis of their agitations, and restore peace to Nigeria.

Peter Obi claimed that the planned conversation with the protesters will bring progress to every region of the nation and that he would only explore other choices once the dialogue had run its course.

The former governor emphasized that his goal is to improve Nigeria and restore the country’s security while pointing out that even the most intractable problems in the world have been resolved via discussion.

However, Obi vowed to keep denouncing wrongdoings throughout the nation and to not support them under any pretext.
