VIDEO: Traders Clash With Hoodlums In Alaba International Market Lagos

After some vendors allegedly engaged in combat with hoodlums on Wednesday, commotion erupted at the Alaba International Market in Ojo, Lagos.

This news channel was shown a video showing traders marching against the thugs who were allegedly attacking them while equipped with clubs and stones.

The confrontation caused a complete lockdown in several areas of Lagos for several hours, halting business operations in the market.

Although the origin of the altercation is yet unknown, hoodlums can be seen moving close to the traders while holding onto hazardous materials in viral videos.

Men marching toward the adversaries while carrying sticks and stones and singing “war” songs can be seen in one of the films.

As at the time this report was filed, the incident has stirred lots of reactions online.
