In an effort to win over the locals ahead of the 2023 general elections, popular Nollywood actress and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in Lagos State Funke Akindele took her political campaign to the Alimosho neighborhood on Wednesday.
This morning, the politician-actress released images from the occasion on her official Twitter account, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
In her campaign, Akindele pleaded with the populace to support her and Olajide Adeniran, also known as Jandor, who was running for governor of Lagos.

Sharing the photos, Akindele captioned: “Alimosho was agog today as we took the PDP campaign tour to our people in that territory. I was so delighted to see how excited the people of Alimosho are for a positive change.
“We crave your indulgence, please give Jandor and I this chance of handling the affairs of Lagos State and we promise we will make you all proud.”
