Social media indignation over the brutality meted out to a young girl has been ignited by Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, a senior lecturer with the department of History and International Studies at the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA).
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the lecturer was photographed flogging the 20-year-old woman who is accused of beating his daughter over a boyfriend on Friday, October 21, 2022.
This publication learned that the victim, Blessing Mathias, confronted Emmanuella Onawegie, Ayokhai’s daughter, for trying to steal her boyfriend, IG.

Emmanuella and Blessing got into a quarrel after the latter demanded the number be removed from her phone after learning that Emmanuella and her boyfriend had been having a private discussion.
At the viral video, Blessing was brutally beaten in her house by Emmanuella, her father Ekpe Ayokhai, and other family members before being coerced into their car.
Later, after driving into an unidentified woodland, the senior lecturer tore the woman’s dress from her body while she sobbed loudly and begged him to stop.
