Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president in the 2023 elections, has given N100 million to flood victims in Kano.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Tinubu made the announcement about the donation on Saturday during a luncheon hosted in his honor by the Kano business community council.
If elected, Tinubu promised to address the issue of flooding and other natural disasters and stated that the donation was intended to lessen the suffering of the victims in the affected Local Government Areas.

However, the APC presidential contender urged persistent prayer in order to put an end to flood disasters in the state and the country as a whole.
Rather than only focusing on the North or Kano, Tinubu promised to reposition existing businesses and make them a competitive source of development and growth.
The APC candidate for president also pledged to the business sector that he would create an environment that would allow companies to prosper in the state.
He expressed gratitude to the business community for the honor and made a vow to consider their plan if elected.

The former governor of Lagos State also praised Abdullahi Ganduje, the governor of Kano, for his efforts to improve the state’s infrastructure.
The relationship between Kano and Lagos, according to Tinubu, dates back years due to the parallels between the two economic powerhouses. Ganduje was described by Tinubu as a “friend and a trusted collaborator.”
