2023: Kwankwaso Will Not Step Down For Another Candidate

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate for the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), has denied rumors that he will resign to make way for a another party’s nominee.

There was no mention of collapsing Kwankwaso’s campaign for another candidate, according to his spokesperson Ladipo Johnson.

Ladipo made the remark on Channels Television Sunrise Daily on Wednesday amid rumors that the NNPP standard bearer might abandon his bid for the presidency before 2023 in favor of another contender.

“It’s too late for mergers and there is no talk of collapsing the campaign, Kwankwaso’s campaign, or the NNPP campaign at any level at the moment with any of the party or any of the candidates, that is not on the card yet.

“What I meant when I say not yet is that we are going all the way to February 25 next year,” he said.
