President Muhammadu Buhari has finally introduced the redesigned notes for the highest naira denominations.
The President conducted the brief ceremony just before the start of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja’s Council Chambers.
He unveiled the new N1000, N500, and N200 notes to the public.
Mr Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Professor Ibrahim Gambari, Chief of Staff to the President, and Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan, Head of the Federation’s Civil Service, attended the ceremony.
