2023: I Will Name, Shame Oil Thieves If Elected – Atiku

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential contender for 2023, has pledged to name and disgrace oil thieves in Nigeria if elected President in 2023.

He stated this on Saturday while speaking at the Business Dialogue Stakeholders Forum at the Eko Hotel in Lagos.

Atiku also stated that he would seize all oil blocs allocated to Nigerians who have yet to make them operational.

“If you are not going to develop oil blocs given to you, we will take it away and give it to those who will develop it. We will also assemble the names of those involved in oil theft, publish same and prosecute them,” Atiku told the stakeholders.

He reaffirmed his intention to privatize refineries in Kaduna, Port Harcourt, and Warri.

Atiku attended the occasion alongside his running mate, Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

Governors Udom Emmanuel and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Akwa Ibom and Sokoto states, respectively, who serve as the Chairman and Director General of the Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign team, urged stakeholders to back Atiku for a better Nigeria.
