Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress’ (APC) 2023 presidential candidate, expressed certainty that his group would prevail in every poll in 2019.
He told the cheering throng that he had what it takes to win and run the country on Tuesday in Calabar, the capital of the Cross River State, during a town hall meeting with party stakeholders, highlighting his “achievements” as governor of Lagos from 1999 to 2007.
The APC presidential contender claimed that his rivals lack integrity and frequently engage in misconduct.

“They have no past, they have no experience, no track record, no integrity so all they do is resort to insults and abuses. My concern is the development of Nigeria and that is what I will do as President,” he said.
According to him, all Nigerians have experienced disappointment in some form, but the moment has come to go past it and put your attention on the country’s progress, which has a better history overall.
“It is our fault in this country that these past 60 years we have not made progress but moving Nigeria forward is a task that must be done,” he declared.
Senator Bassey Otu, the party candidate for governor in the state, and Senator John Enoh, a rival candidate who had been having legal problems, were reconciled by Tinubu.

Earlier, the state’s governor, Ben Ayade, claimed that Tinubu had been sent by God at this point in Nigeria’s political history to save the nation. In order to reduce the high rate of pain and hunger in the nation, he urged him to concentrate on agricultural and human development.
