BREAKING: ADEYEYE REAPPOINTED BY BUHARI AS NAFDAC DG

The nomination of Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye as the Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has been renewed by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.).
This was announced by the agency on Friday via its official Twitter account.
Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye has been reappointed as the @DGatNAFDAC for a second and last five-year term, it stated. She made a quick visit to the corporate office in Abuja to speak with key Directors.

Additionally, a senior agency employee who insisted on anonymity told our correspondent that the development had occurred.
Adeyeye was reportedly reappointed as the DG of NAFDAC with effect from December 1, 2022, according to the staff.

Adeyeye, who was appointed in 2017, ended her renewable first term of office on November 2, 2022.
Following the expiration of the first tenure of Adeyeye as the DG, the Director of Drug Registration and Regulatory Affairs Directorate of NAFDAC, Dr. Monica Eimunjeze, took over as the Acting DG of the Agency on November 12, 2022.
