⁃ Commends the Lawmaker’s commitment towards the construction of Nnewi roads
– *Wishes him well in his House of Reps ambition
Putting aside political party differences, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has commended the lawmaker representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor, with regard to his push for the construction of roads in Nnewi.
Governor Soludo spoke highly of the efforts of the Lawmaker during the 59th Ofala festival and 97th birthday of the Traditional Ruler of Nnewi, His Royal Highness, Igwe Dr. Kenneth Orizu (III), on Wednesday, 28th December, 2022.

Speaking at the Ofala Festival, the Former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, said that all access roads in Nnewi will get the needed attention, adding that some of the road contracts have already been awarded with mobilization fees paid.
According to him, during his visit to inspect roads in Nnewi, it was Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor that led him round the town to see most of the dilapidated roads in Nnewi.
Acknowledging that although he came to see some specific number of bad roads in Nnewi, Hon. Smart living up to his name was smart enough to take him to see so many other dilapidated roads in the town, which he didn’t plan to see.

He however appreciated the efforts of the lawmaker, while wishing him well in his aspiration to represent Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.
