UPDATE: JAMB Registration Ends February, Exam To Begin April

Candidates who opt for the mock UTME will pay a total of N6,700, while those who do not sit for the mock UTME will pay N5,700, according to a breakdown of fees for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

According to the breakdown of prices for the 2023 examinations, the UTME/DE application fee would be N3,500. The board further stated that N500 would be paid for the reading text; the sum to be charged by CBT centers would be N1,700 for those who do not opt for the mock UTME, and N2,700 for those who did.

In addition, a registration centre service charge of N700 and an examination centre service charge of N1,000 would be charged.

2021: JAMB Releases Mock Examination Results

Overall, the board stated that the total without mock would be N5,700; with mock, N6,700; and for direct entry applicants, N4,700.

According to media reports, the board has published the dates for the 2023 examinations.

Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s head of public affairs and protocol, said in a statement that the board’s management approved the changes during a meeting in December.

Benjamin stated that registration for the 2023 UTME will commence on Saturday, January 14, 2023, and will expire on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

He stated that the computer-based UTME examination would be held between Saturday, April 29, 2023, and Monday, May 12, 2023.

The agency has also set Thursday, March 16, 2023, as the day for its optional mock UTME.

Meanwhile, the board said that registration for Direct Entry candidates would take place from Monday, February 20, through Thursday, April 20, 2023.
