Just In: Two-Story Building In Abuja Collapsed, Trapping 40 People

Over 40 persons are said to be buried under the rubbles of a two-story suspended building that collapsed on Thursday at 7th Avenue, Gwarinpa in the nation’s capital, Abuja.

At least seven persons were saved, according to reports.

Mukhtar Galadima, Director of Development Control in the Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA, confirmed the occurrence.
As part of the rescue operations, emergency responders and security personnel have cordoned off the area.
