Jordan said to talkSPORT: “What we don’t want to be looking at is financial consequences because that’s not difficult for Man City to overcome is it.
“I would like to think, if they are guilty of the things they are being charged that they get the ultimate consequences.
“That means points, that means consideration of what division they play in…they’ll have a menu of consequences and the last one we want to see is Man City get a £50m fine. They couldn’t care less about a £50m fine.”

Asked if ‘consideration of what division they play in’ means that City should be kicked out of the Premier League, he replied: “If they’re found guilty of ten years worth of financial misrepresentation, what do you think that means?”
