Breaking: Supreme Court Suspends CBN’s Feb10 Deadline

The Supreme Court stayed the Federal Government’s enforcement of the February 10 deadline for the usage of N200, N500, and N1000 old Naira notes on Wednesday.

The Supreme Court, in a unanimous ruling by a seven-member panel, halted the full execution of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) demonetisation policy.

The verdict came in response to a challenge filed by three Northern states: Kaduna, Kogi, and Zamfara.
