Following a collision on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in the Ogun State region between Fidiwo bridge and Foursquare that caused traffic, a tanker burst into flames.
According to reports, the unregistered tanker blew up on Friday morning about 7:30.
Speaking on behalf of the Ogun State Federal Road Safety Corps, Florence Okpe said that three people were involved in the collision but that no one was hurt or killed.
She said another car and an unregistered DAF tanker were both involved in the collision.

She claimed that erroneous overtaking was the likely cause of the collision because it caused two vehicles to collide, sparking a fire.
“The fire service men were contacted and traffic diverted immediately, with the crash scene cordoned off to avoid a secondary crash,” the spokesperson said.
